Boys basketball: Jupiter rolls past Palm Beach Gardens


Trent Webb scored 13 points, leading the Jupiter boys basketball team to a 69-39 rout of Palm Beach Gardens on Friday night in Jupiter.

Larry Isaac Scott added 12 points for Jupiter.

B.J. Pierre led Palm Beach Gardens with 10 points.

No. 5 Inlet Grove 55, Somerset Canyons 50: Kevin Anders scored 21 points, Dante Moses added 16 points and 10 rebounds and Javaris Chevelon added five points and eight rebounds as the Hurricanes (17-7) held off the Cougars in Boynton Beach.

No. 8 Spanish River 83, Hollywood Hills 74 (2OTs): Charles West had 27 points and 10 rebounds and Malacai Davis added 23 points and eight rebounds as the Sharks (15-6) outlasted the Spartans in Hollywood.

Palm Beach Lakes 90, Boynton Beach 70: Ty Hands and Sheldon Edwards each scored 26 points and Denzel Robinson added 20 as the Rams (10-7) overpowered the Tigers in West Palm Beach.

Boca Raton 80, Olympic Heights 56: Cade Long scored 36 points as the Bobcats (13-9) handled the Lions in Boca Raton.

St. John Paul II 54, King’s Academy 49: Kobe Opoku had 17 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks, David Curlee added 10 points, seven assists and three block and Kirt Bromley contributed eight points and five rebounds as the Eagles (18-3) held off the Lions in West Palm Beach.

Jupiter Christian 70, Lake Worth Christian 46: Gethro Germinal scored 12 points and Clay Fitzmorris and Gedeon Germinal each added 10 to lead the Eagles (19-4) over the Defenders in Boynton Beach.

Oxbridge Academy 51, Glades Central 37: Dante Wilcox scored 11 points, and A.J. Cajuste and Ronique Spencer each added 10 to lead the ThunderWolves (14-8) past the Raiders.
