Boys basketball: Jupiter gets by Palm Beach Gardens


Josh Williams scored 14 points, leading the Jupiter boys basketball team to a 72-66 win over Palm Beach Gardens on Thursday night in Palm Beach Gardens.

Armani Hayes led Palm Beach Gardens (3-9) with 24 points.

Inlet Grove 73, Fort Pierce Westwood 64: Kevin Anders scored 33 points and Dante Moses added 28 to lead the Hurricanes (11-4) over the Panthers in Riviera Beach.

Jupiter Christian 67, Seminole Ridge 63: Gethro Germinal scored 22 points, Clay Fitzmorris added 18 and Gedeon Germinal contributed 17 as the Eagles (9-4) held off the Hawks (2-11) in Loxahatchee. Jordan Ferro had 20 points and 13 rebounds for Seminole.

Coral Springs Charter 46, American Heritage 32: Aamir Justice scored 17 points, but the Stallions fell to the Panthers in Delray Beach.

Hollywood Christian 59, Glades Day 55: A.J. McPhee scored 21 points and Jorge Acosta added 20, but the Gators (2-8) fell to the Eagles in Belle Glade.

Boca Raton 73, Park Vista 56: Cade Long scored a game-high 36 points to lead the Bobcats (10-4) past the Cobras.
