Boys basketball: Dreyfoos, Benjamin St. John Paul II grab wins


Dreyfoos 59, Hobe Sound-The Pine School 27: Caleb Holzhauer had 11 points, Amare Davis added nine points and Lance Carter contributed seven points as the Jaguars (1-2) handled the Knights in West Palm Beach.

St. John Paul II Academy 83, West Boca Raton 58: Nick Fischer had 25 points and five assists, David Curlee added 15 points to go with 10 assists, and Kobe Opoku contributed 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and had five blocks as the Eagles (3-0) defeated the Bulls in Boca Raton.

Benjamin 74, Yeshiva 30: Ben Lubarsky scored 26 points, Jordan Travis added 13 points and Alex Vogelsong contributed 11 points as the Buccaneers (5-0) overpowered the Storm in Palm Beach Gardens.
