Basketball: No. 4 Forest Hill boys improve to 19-1


Jalen Jackson had 21 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks, leading the fourth-ranked Forest Hill boys basketball team to a 64-44 rout of Park Vista on Thursday night in West Palm Beach.

Tristan Stephens added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Falcons (19-1).

Glades Day 79, Donna Klein 76: A.J. McPhee scored 26 points, George Acosta added 24, and Jacob Camacho contributed 15 as the Gators (4-9, 2-4) held off the Eagles in Boca Raton.

St. Andrew’s 44, Coral Springs Charter 39: Jammy Pierre-Louis had 16 points, four rebounds and five assists and Kobe Pelissier added 10 points, leading the Scots (13-6) to the win in Boca Raton.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Cardinal Newman 49, Park Vista 42: Bianca Cantando had 19 points, eight assists, seven steals and six rebounds and Christell Mentor added 13 rebounds as the Crusaders (12-11) got past the Cobras in Boynton Beach.

Grandview Prep 63, Atlantic Christian 40: Danielle Montelbano had 26 points and eight assists, Alexis Romer added 13 points and seven assists and Ciadorah Angervil contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Pride (13-6) routed the Sharks in West Palm Beach.
