Baseball: No. 2 Jupiter improves to 16-4


Mason Dolittle drove in the game’s only run as the second-ranked Jupiter baseball team edged Plantation-American Heritage 1-0 on Wednesday night in Jupiter.

With the victory, the Warriors improved to 16-4 on the season.

No. 9 Benjamin 11, St. Andrew’s 1: Jack Keiser was 3-for-4 with two RBIs as the Buccaneers (13-6) routed the Scots in West Palm Beach.

Palm Beach Central 7, Palm Beach Gardens 2: Ivan Suarez was 3-for-3 with two singles and a double as the Gators (13-8) handled the Broncos in Wellington.

Santaluces 8, John I. Leonard 1: Malik Lissone struck out nine and had a hit and three RBIS as the Chiefs (8-10) handled the Lancers (4-12) in Lantana.

Olympic Heights 7, Somerset Canyons 6: Roger Edge was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Brooks Lamb went 3-for-5 with an RBI as the Lions (5-10) edged the Cougars in Boca Raton

Glades Day 7, TC Williams (Va.) 5: Christian Ellison pitched four shutout innings as the Gators (13-5) held off the Titans in Belle Glade.
