Baseball: No. 1 Dwyer holds off West Boca Raton


Charlie Van Martin’s two-run home run helped the top-ranked Dwyer baseball team to a 4-2 victory over West Boca Raton on Friday night in Palm Beach Gardens.

With the victory, the Panthers improved to 16-5 on the season.

No. 5 American Heritage 3, Naples-Barron Collier 1: Carmine Lane struck out five as the Stallions (16-5) held off the Panthers in Naples.
