Eagles S Malcolm Jenkins excited enough for all of Philadelphia after win over Panthers

Philadelphia Eagles-Malcolm Jenkins-Carolina Panthers-Week 6

The Philadelphia Eagles got huge win on Thursday against the Carolina Panthers, and safety Malcolm Jenkins was a happy man.

After the Eagles 28-23 win against the Panthers, cornerback Ronald Darby posted a video from the locker room on his Instagram story, via Bleacher Report’s Drew Corigan. It featured Jenkins hopping in the locker room to George Clinton’s Atomic Dog.

Jenkins was doing a dance that belongs to his fraternity, Omega Psi Phi. Eagles fans, that means if you’re at Lincoln Financial Field and they start playing Atomic Dog, don’t start hopping in the crowd.

They kept the old school vibe going in the locker room, as Darby posted another video of several players dancing to The Commodores’ Brick House.

The Eagles have every reason to be fired up after their win against the Panthers. They beat a 4-1 team, on the road, and on a short week, to move to 5-1 on the season.

Going into the season, the favorites to win the NFC East were the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys. With nearly half of the season over, and both of those teams under .500, the Eagles are the clear favorite in that division, and also appear to be one of the better teams in league.
