The Trae Young-ESPN hype train transcends Oklahoma games. It’s literally starting to pour into other Big 12 contests.

For example, college basketball viewers were not particularly pleased when ESPN2 plugged Young’s stats above the scoreboard graphic for the Iowa State-Kansas game on Tuesday.

Sure, ESPN was probably trying to plug its other game on television. That’s nothing new.

Fans are still over ESPN’s nonstop coverage of Young, even if he is the runaway favorite for the Wooden Award.
