Sandra Nortunen is a graduate of the University of Florida. Born in Miami, she began her career as a reporter for The Baker County Standard in Macclenny, Fla. She also worked at The Charlotte Sun-Herald and The Gainesville Sun before arriving at The Palm Beach Post in 2005 as an assistant bureau chief. She is now a digital content specialist.
