The rainy season has not yet officially started in South Florida, but Palm Beach County welcomed it a little early on Monday.
With reports of up to eight inches of rain in western Boynton Beach and more than 5 inches in Boca Raton and Riviera Beach, much of the county was drenched by lunch time Monday. The wet weather also caused traffic snarls, troubles at school dismissals and even some flight delays.
