Low chance of scattered showers throughout Palm Beach County



Another day of sporadic rain is in store for the area today.

Forecasters with the National Weather Service predict a 30 percent chance of rain during the day and later tonight, ending before 2 a.m. You can expect a mostly sunny, fairly warm day with high temperatuers in the mid-80s and and east wind between 8 and 14 mph.

Tonight, there’ll be some isolated showers and partly cloudy skies with a low temperatuer in the mid 70s.

The National Weather Service warned of dangerous conditions at Atlantic beaches, including “life-threatening rip currents” persisting today and through the middle of the week.

A coastal flood advisory is in effect through tonight, for the Atlantic coast and intracoastal areas.
