Glass shattered all around Linda McAnary when the storm hit her 71st Place North neighborhood.
The twister woke her at 7:15 a.m., shattering her window, cutting her forearm with glass shards and sending her ducking under her bed for cover.
“I heard it. It was, like, a whistling. It woke me up, and the glass started flying,” she said.
McAnary said she’ll probably need a new roof but a boat trailered in her shed was untouched.
And her three dogs are OK.
