The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather warning for Martin and St. Lucie counties beginning at 11 a.m. today. The warning will remain in effect until 7 p.m.
Warnings are issued when conditions are favorable for the spread of wildfire. Low humidity combined with gusty winds can increase wildfire risk. Winds today will blow from the west to northwest at 15 mph.
