A cold front passed through Palm Beach County Friday night, making temperatures a little cooler than normal this morning.
The National Weather Service said the temperature dropped to 58 degrees at Palm Beach International Airport at 7:47 a.m. The normal low is about 65 degrees. The record low is 38 degrees, set in 1920, said Dave Ross, a National Weather Service meteorologist.
Ross said northwest winds from the front ushered in the cooler temperatures.
It won’t stay cool for long, though. Ross said relatively seasonal temperatures return today, with highs mostly in the upper 70s. Starting Sunday, the mercury will rise even further, climbing to the upper 70s and low 80s, Ross said.
Monday morning temperatures are expected to be in the mid 60s, Ross said.
