VIDEO: 6 people arrested in Florida after bringing child along to burglarize cars 


An early-morning attempt to burglarize cars was cut short after a witness called authorities. 

On Tuesday, around 1:40 a.m., Broward Sheriff’s Office Pompano Beach deputies responded to the call, where six people were arrested. One of the burglars brought her child along and another was a 17-year-old boy, according to deputies.

Deputies said the group was attempting to break into two cars at the 2000 block of N. Riverside Drive in Pompano Beach, when one of the car alarms went off. 

The group fled in a 2016 Chevy Malibu, but a neighbor spotted the suspect’s car, according to the sheriff’s office.

Christopher Aubourg, 29, of Pompano Beach; Merith Cordero, 29, of Pompano Beach; Latasha Dupree, 25, of Pompano Beach; Elijah D. Godson, 18, of Pompano Beach; Unique Quince and a 17-year-old boy were arrested.
