UPDATE: Motorcyclist dies after Boynton Beach wreck

A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a car Wednesday night in Boynton Beach, city police said.

Joshua Rohe, 24, was thrown from his 2013 Kawasaki after it crashed into the side of 26-year-old Duchard Lazare’s 1999 Toyota Camry at about 8 p.m. by the intersection of Gulfstream Boulevard and Federal Highway, north of George Bush Boulevard along the border with Delray Beach.

Seconds later, another motorcycle hit Lazare’s car. That motorcyclist, 25-year-old Ryan Laurain, was thrown from his 2007 Honda.

Rescue crews rushed Rohe to Delray Medical Center where he died. Laurain was taken to Bethesda hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Neither Lazare nor his two passengers were injured in the crash.

It’s unclear what caused the wreck.

Anyone with information about the wreck is asked to contact investigator Chris Munro at 561-742-6112 or Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-TIPS (8477).
