4:15 p.m.: President Trump, back in a suit and tie after a day of golfing, stopped by a West Palm Beach Fire Station 2 at the corner on Dixie Highway south of Southern Boulevard to thank first responders.

He later tweeted that he "Met with great men and women as representatives of those who do so much for all of us. Firefighters, paramedics, first responders - what amazing people they are!"

Inside the fire station, the president shook hands with several dozen firefighters and paramedics. Standing in front of a red fire truck, the president pointed out that the stocket market hit new highs 84 times since he became president and that his administration had set an “all time record for stopping ridiculous regulations.”

As he has done in the past, the president touted his legislative prowess, saying he had passed more legislation than Harry Truman, believed to have passed between 240-250 bills during his first year in office. Trump signed 96 bills in 2017.

2:35 p.m.: Somehow, Trump supporters know when the president is headed back to Mar-a-Lago. No protestors in sight.

2:09 p.m.: After five hours at the golf course, the president heads back to Mar-a-Lago. No word on who he golfed with today.

11:04 a.m.: Another exciting day for the President’s national press pool. The Palm Beach Post is the only local news organization that included in the pool. Today, Post veteran reporter Wayne Washington is in the pool.

9 a.m.: Donald Trump and his motorcade have arrived at Trump International Golf Club for another day of golf.

7:47 a.m.: The traveling press pool has just arrived at Mar-a-Lago for the day’s security clearance. The early morning security screen has become a daily ritual on days when the president golfs.

7:00 a.m.: There is no official word yet on what the president will do today but with high temperatures in the mid-70s and little chance of rain, golf seems likely.

As of 7:30 a.m. there were no tweet from the president, who often starts his day early with a volley of tweets.

As for the rest of the Trump family, it was thought some might head to Aspen after the FAA issued a alert for VIP movement in the Aspen area beginning Dec. 26. Aspen is a favorite destination of Ivanka Trump and the Trump children and grandchildren took a ski vacation to the posh resort in March.

However, it appears the alert was for Vice-president Mike Pence and his wife. According to the Denver Post, motorcade ferrying Vice President Mike Pence to a residence near Snowmass Village on Tuesday sparked traffic delays in the area during one of the busiest weeks of the ski season.
