The National Weather Service expects high temperatures for the area in the lower 80s, with a 30 percent chance of showers during the day.

Tonight, forecasters predict partly cloudy skies and a low temperature in the mid-70s. The easterly wind remains, with gusts as high as 18 mph, down from 23 mph earlier in the day.

The NWS-issued coastal flood advisory will remain in effect today, along with warnings for rip currents at Atlantic beaches.
