Witnesses in Palm Harbor on Thursday afternoon reported seeing Emanuel Qosaj, 20, battering and choking the woman, whose name was not released. When deputies arrived, they said they were forced to use a Taser to subdue and handcuff Qosaj.

He was charged with attempted murder, simple battery and two counts of battery on an emergency medical care provider.

Qosaj's two brothers were also arrested when they tried to interfere with police and became violent, the Times reports.
