At just 360 feet deep to center field, Dwyer High’s home baseball park is one of the county’s smallest. During the regular season, Dwyer shortstop Hunter Hope hit three of his area-best eight home runs there.
He hit one in Dwyer’s 2-1 win over Wellington in a District 9-8A play-in game that would have left most any high school park in the nation.
