Mother Nature did what the rest of the field at the Arnold Palmer Championship could not Sunday: slow Tiger Woods’ march to No. 1.
Woods’ quest to regain the mantle of the world’s top-ranked player for the first time since October 2011 was put on hold when thunderstorms rolling through Central Florida prompted a tornado warning and dropped nearly an inch-and-a-half of rain on Bay Hill Club and Lodge. The final round will resume at 10 a.m. Monday.
