As fans who watched last year’s edition of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” featuring the Dolphins can attest, NFL coaches can be brutally honest in their assessment of players in the privacy of team meeting rooms. So it says something about the prospects for rookie tight end Dion Sims that he’s received a more positive message in this year’s training camp.
“I’ve been hearing I’ve been doing really well,” Sims said Wednesday. “There’s a lot of room for improvement, but they like my attitude and my work ethic.”
