Chad Pennington, the last quarterback to take the Miami Dolphins to the playoffs, participated in Wednesday’s practice session as a “guest coach,” with no indication from the team that it was more than a one-time thing.
“It’s great to have him here,” Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said. “At various times we’ve had guest coaches here and we’ll continue to do that. It’s good for the players and staff to hear a different perspective on things. … Chad worked with the quarterbacks today.”
