Syracuse sophomore cornerback Julian Whigham, a former Dwyer standout, was taken off the field on a stretcher in the first quarter of Florida State’s 59-3 victory Saturday.
ABC reported during the game that Whigham had internal bleeding. Coach Scott Shafer said after the game that Whigham was in stable condition and being evaluated at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
