Despite Florida State’s success on defense the past few seasons, there was often something missing: turnovers.
FSU allowed just 14.7 points per game in 2012, placing the Seminoles in the top 10 in the Football Bowl Subdivision. But they forced only 11 interceptions and recovered 10 fumbles, numbers that put them in the middle of the pack nationally.
