Towering Florida State wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin aims to erase from his mind all the distractions that stand between him and the end zone in Monday night’s BCS championship game. That includes, apparently, the Auburn defenders who have been trained all this last month to stop him.
“When I run my route, I try to visualize that the cornerback is not there,” Benjamin said Saturday morning in a hotel ballroom crawling with reporters. “I just go take the ball at the highest point, and if I come down with it, I never really see the corner.”
