The city of West Palm Beach has won a default judgement against a defunct Canadian firm that the city says still owes a $100,000-plus deducted from parking meter proceeds.
“We’re pleased that we’re one step closer to catching up with the people who owe us the money,” city spokesman ElliotCohen said Monday, “but since they’ve basically disappeared, the hard part now is tracking them down.”
