After she was told the only way to break free of her husband is to ask police for help, a Wellington woman got out of her house Wednesday evening and did just that.
Just before 7 p.m., she met with a deputy at the village’s city hall and told him she was being beaten daily and hasn’t been able to leave her home in three years.
