A trash-hauling firm that was disqualified from bidding on four multimillion-dollar contracts to collect waste in Palm Beach County’s unincorporated areas has sued the Solid Waste Authority to block the agency from awarding the jobs to other companies.
Waste Pro of Florida filed the suit Monday in circuit court, alleging that they should have been allowed to bid. The firm has asked for an injunction to prevent the authority from signing contracts with other haulers.
