Florida’s Attorney General’s Office said Tuesday it is suing Nationwide Pools, a Pompano Beach-based firm with a West Palm Beach affiliate, over alleged unfair and deceptive trade practices.
State officials charge the company failed to pay subcontractors which caused liens to be placed on consumers’ homes, made misrepresentations relating to pool financing, charged illegal credit card fees, misrepresented manufacturer rebates and warranties, and failed to complete construction of pools.
