A local ethics watchdog group will ask Palm Beach County commissioners on Tuesday to start the process of changing county rules in order to give Inspector General Sheryl Steckler the power to sue and be sued.
The Palm Beach County Ethics Defense Alliance is calling on its members to bring signs to Tuesday’s commission meeting urging commissioners to “Fix the IG Ordinance.” The ordinance governs how Steckler operates the 3-year-old office.
