Construction on Palm Beach International Airport’s new $19.2 million air traffic control tower was completed more than two years ago, but it will be months before controllers begin using the facility.
The Federal Aviation Administration said Monday it plans to open the tower, located near the airport’s northern border on Belvedere Road, by the end of the year.
