Two South Bay commissioners who were charged with violating Florida’s Sunshine Law and suspended by Gov. Rick Scott are running for their old seats in a special election Tuesday.
The governor’s office says Shirley Walker-Turner and John Wilson, who have been barred from office since December, will remain suspended regardless of what happens at the polls next week.
