Law enforcement, consumer and traffic safety advocates on Thursday looked to put the brakes on a legislative proposal that could raise Florida’s speed limit to 75 mph in some places.
One official called the measure, co-sponsored by Lake Worth Democratic Sen. Jeff Clemens, a “bad, bad idea.”
