Air traffic controllers will begin using Palm Beach International Airport’s taller tower in September, nearly three years after construction was completed on the $19.2 million facility.
At 231 feet, the tower, near the airport’s northern border with Belvedere Road, is one of Palm Beach County’s tallest landmarks and more than twice as tall as PBIA’s older control tower, near Southern Boulevard.
