Red light cameras: It would be tougher for local governments to issue tickets to motorists caught on camera taking a right on red, under a wide-ranging transportation bill (HB 7125) sent to Gov. Rick Scott. Legislators approved the measure, which prevents a notice of violation or traffic citation as long as the vehicle came to a stop, even after crossing the stop line, prior to completing an allowed right turn during a red light.
