An attorney representing Century Village residents opposed to a plan to build on a former golf course near their retirement community wants Palm Beach County officials to postpone today’s decision on the project until a judge weighs in.
In a letter sent to the county on Monday, Attorney Ralf Brookes asked that commissioners delay their vote and allow a judge to consider a deed restriction on the property that he argues prevents the 70-acre site from being used for anything other than a golf course.
