From their 10th floor aerie, Robert Pingpank and Richard Nolan, both 76, have a sublimely elevated perspective, not just of the Fort Lauderdale skyline, but also of the whole arc of the gay rights movement, since they fell in love in 1958.
In their starter house in Palm Beach Gardens, Sarah and Jackie Christensen-Sharpe, ages 25 and 32, are experiencing a later segment of that same historic arc.
