Former Gov. Charlie Crist will publish a “no-holds-barred memoir” on his rapid journey from conservative-talking Republican to enthusiastic Democrat and offer what his publisher calls “very frank” opinions on such GOP stars as Sen. Marco Rubio, former Gov. Jeb Bush and Sarah Palin.
The book is titled “The Party’s Over: How the Extreme Right Hijacked the GOP and I Became a Democrat.” It’s slated for release in the winter of 2014, by which time many expect Crist to be waging a Democratic campaign for governor.
