The Florida House passed two measures backed by anti-abortion advocates the same day the activists set up shop in the Capitol to garner support for a “personhood” ballot measure.
The House on Wednesday unanimously approved a measure that requiring that infants born alive after botched abortions receive emergency care and be transported to a hospital, a rare event because third-trimester abortions are outlawed.
