The Boca Raton Police Department Training Center Wednesday will be the venue for a town hall meeting on identity theft and tax fraud.
The meeting, which is free and open to the public, is hosted by Attorney General Palm Bondi and the Federal Trade Commission. It starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon.
Rep. Ted Deutch, D-Boca Raton, the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office will be amongst those who will be educating the public on how to identify signs of identity theft and tax fraud and how to protect themselves.
The training center is located at 6500 Congress Ave., just south of Clint Moore Road.
