 PBSO, deputies accused of excessive force in arrest

EDITOR’S NOTE: Court documents show a $125,000 settlement was reached May 9 in the civil rights lawsuit filed by a man against the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and four deputies claiming the deputies used excessive force against him. 

While a Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputy searches a handcuffed man during a DUI arrest in December 2011, a voice among several officers says: “Hey, video’s still running.”
