Randy Schultz’s column “Without a gun, there is no tragedy” did not display what I would call brilliant reasoning, but I will say it was thought-provoking.
I wonder how he arrived at his conclusion. Perhaps he put yourself in the place of George Zimmerman. Having no gun, he would not have followed and observed an unfamiliar hooded person walking through his neighborhood, even considering that several break-ins recently had occurred. So why would Mr. Zimmerman, had he no gun?
