Regarding “Obama rejects Benghazi criticism,” in Benghazi the consulate was aware of the security danger, and asked for help both before and during the attacks. None was given. In fact, some of the guards had ties to Muslim extremists and ran away when the attacks started.
All of the investigations and hearings could have been avoided if President Obama had said: “Our consulate in Benghazi was attacked on the anniversary of 9/11 with riots taking place near other consulates. Until circumstances tell us otherwise, we will treat these attacks and riots as the work of terrorists.” End of story, no political fallout, the respect of the American people. Instead, many of us are wondering what else we have been lied to about. When this president speaks, do we believe him on any issue?
