Gov. Rick Scott had 60 days to look for some new voices on the Florida Public Service Commission. He took less than half that time to decide that he likes the same anti-consumer chorus.
Last week, the governor reappointed Ronald Brise and Arthur Graham to the five-member commission that regulates utilities. At least, the commission is supposed to regulate utilities. This commission, which also includes Eduardo Balbis, Julie Brown and Lisa Edgar, only pretends to regulate, at least where the state’s largest investor-owned utilities are concerned.
