Royal Palm Beach residents would be best served if voters in Tuesday’s election return incumbents Martha Webster and Fred Pinto to the village council. Ms. Webster and Mr. Pinto can better serve the village by putting aside their differences.
Former village councilor David Swift is challenging Ms. Webster in Seat 2. Mr. Swift, who served on the council for 20 years, describes Ms. Webster as divisive and believes that he can return harmony to the board. In fact, it is the other members of the council — including Mr. Pinto — who greet Ms. Webster’s ideas with disdain that are responsible for the division.
