The district’s board and CEO Ron Wiewora have made clear that they don’t want the public knowing about a public agency. They resented The Post’s coverage in 2011 of a $4 million land deal that benefited the district’s real estate agent. The agency bought the property, for a new nursing home, despite an offer from the county of free land.
