South Florida condo associations being cowed by the likes of Gabby, an 18-pound Bichon Frise who has allegedly attacked owners at Delray Beach’s Villages of Oriole, can and should use their authority to muzzle pets that pose a threat to residents.
As The Post’s Kimberly Miller reported, an increasing number of Floridians living in condos that prohibit dogs are bypassing the restriction by claiming their pets are emotional support animals. Gabby, who allegedly drew blood after jumping on and scratching one resident, and attacked another one three times, is such an animal.
