The Obama administration won its epic fight over the health care law at the U.S. Supreme Court, and repeated efforts by conservatives to repeal it have failed. But the Affordable Care Act could still be in jeopardy. The irony is that the latest and most-destructive threats to President Barack Obama’s health care law have come from the inside.
The administration on Tuesday offered a one-year delay for the provision requiring businesses either to provide health insurance or pay a fine. That came after an earlier announcement that the new insurance marketplace, which opens for enrollment in October, will offer only one plan option — not several choices for small businesses.
