If President Obama’s inaugural address was a kitchen sink speech into which he threw in a broad range of issues from gay marriage to immigration reform to gun control to climate change, his State of the Union address will more narrowly focus on jobs and the economy.
The president plans to highlight an America that is a magnet for job creation, where every citizen has the job skills needed and where hard work is rewarded with a decent living, according to a White House official.
